Miyakojima?

Located in the southwest of Japan, the eight Miyako Islands feature endless wide skies and beautiful seas.
Miyako Island, the largest of the islands, is small enough that a nonstop trip around it takes less than 2 hours by car. Despite this, there are plenty of bus routes across the island. You can get to major sightseeing spots by bus only, which is both convenient and budget-friendly! Ideal for a relaxing trip ♪
(Please be aware that there are not as many runs per hour as in the city.)

KYOEI-BUS

With a total of six routes (as of 2024), this bus company provides transportation to almost all areas of the Miyako Islands.
There are also routes to Miyako Airport and Shimojishima Airport, making these buses indispensable for a relaxing trip.
Taxis are also available for private hire, allowing visitors to make their own original sightseeing plans.

CHUO-KOTSU

For those who want to travel quickly, the "Miyako Shimojishima Airport Liner" is an express bus that travels from Shimojishima Airport, stopping only at major hotels and locations!
The service operates according to the schedules of each airline, so there is no need to worry about planning which bus you will catch!
Please note, however, that the outbound and inbound trips are "boarding only" and "alighting only" respectively.
